Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, you'll find a trail to suit your skill level, from gentle blue runs to challenging black runs. It’s truly fun for all ages!
Peaceful Walks in Chopwell Woods: For those who prefer a more tranquil pace, Chopwell Woods is a beloved destination for peaceful walks. It's so special to us that we even pick our Christmas tree there each year! Imagine serene strolls surrounded by beautiful trees – perfect for unwinding.
Family Fun at The Derwent Reservoir: On Sundays, The Derwent Reservoir is a huge hit. After working up an appetite, we often head to The Manor House on the A68 for a delicious roast – a perfect end to a perfect day!

After a day of adventure, there's nothing better than a cosy pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The area is dotted with fantastic local pubs, many of which are dog-friendly, offering great food and a chance to experience the local community.
The Crown and Crossed Swords at Shotley Bridge is a wonderful local pub with a long history and a warm welcome.
The Kings Head in Lanchester is a fantastic choice, known for its hearty food and dog-friendly bar area.
We're sure you'll also love our go-to for a Sunday roast, The Manor House on the A68, which is famous for its delicious food and stunning views.
