The 13.1-mile route takes participants from the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, over the famous Tyne Bridge, and finishes by the sea in South Shields. Whether they're aiming for a personal best or raising money for charity, every runner has an inspiring story to tell.

At only 14 miles from the Great North Run start line in Newcastle, this cottage will be another fantastic option for runners and their supporters seeking a luxury and convenient base for the event.
